Meet your Miss Vigo County Fair Queen 2023!
Hello, I am Sadie!
Hi everyone, my name is Sadie Herring and I am your 2023 Miss Vigo County Fair Queen and now 2nd runner up to Miss Indiana State Fair 2024! I am a sophomore at Indiana State University where I study Insurance and Risk Management and Marketing. I am one of Indiana State’s named President’s Scholars as well as a Networks Professional Development and Gongaware Scholar. On campus, I serve as a Resident’s Assistant and am involved in campus ministries! Growing up, I was a 10 year member of Vigo County 4-H, where I was very active in exhibition hall projects. Consumer Clothing and the fashion review were my favorite! As queen, I have experienced an entire different side of the fair and 4H. My favorite memories so far were made in the first two weeks of my reign, during fair week. From playing games on the 4H lawn, to racing down the drag strip, to welcoming fair goers, my week was filled with so many amazing experiences. This program is so much more than the title and I cannot express how much it has shaped the woman I am today. No matter the outcome, you walk away with interview experience, public speaking experience, and most importantly, lifelong friends.
I could go on for hours on the “why’s”, why you should join this program, why this title has changed my life, why I am so passionate. However, I challenge you young women to come write your own lists of WHY, to find your own place in this program, to write your own story… because each queen walks away with something different and WHY sell yourself short of that queen being you?

Hello, I'm Grace!
Hey ya'll! My name is Grace Rodgers and I am your 2023 Miss Vigo County Fair Princess. I currently am a sophomore in high school at West Vigo. At West Vigo High School I am a part of the SPARK club and I also am involved in Class Senate. Some of my hobbies are playing sports, reading, spending time with my family and friends, taking Starbucks trips, and playing with my cute dog, Colt.
While being your princess, I had a lot of fun times at the Vigo County Fair but some of my favorite memories were meeting children that show in 4-H and having them teach me all about their animals. Other stand out moments were staying in the camper with the Queen and princess court, watching the awesome demolition derby's and hearing little kids all over exclaiming, " Wow look, there is a princess!" This opportunity was the best thing that could ever happen to me and it can be for you too!
There are so many reasons why you should become a part of this program! If you need help with public speaking, have a love for the Vigo County Fair and our county, want to get more involved in the fair and our county, want to make true friends that will help you with anything in life or an opportunity that will put yourself out there and change your life as it did for me, then RUN to the application tab! I encourage each of you beautiful young women to find one reason that fits you, and submit your application today- you won't regret it!
